Wow.

Wow, amazing. 'Nuff said.

Amazing.

I've always been a fan of your animation style rTil, even before the whole Journal Ban thing on SheezyArt. This was an incredible spectacle of FBF. You are incredibly talented. I hate to see it compared to that Vinnie Race++ junk, because this has so much more fluid animation, coloring style, and character designs, it shouldn't be compared to something so horrible. I salute you.

SUCKED

BUT LOVED IT

What warp said.

I liked this. It was cute, it was fun, and it was bizzare in that special way only authentic anime can be. For those of you who don't get it: It's a visual metaphor. The author is trying to convey the emotional content of the ups and downs of a long-distance relationship.

He's there one minute, gone the next. He's always striving to be there with her but never quite able to stay there very long. She will always want more closeness than the situation will allow, and she tells him so on the phone.

By making the situation suddenly change in impossible ways, the artist (hopefully) causes the viewer to feel the same unfairness of the situation that the characters were feeling. If you identify with the characters, you feel like there's a happy ending when they meet, then you feel robbed when the happy ending gets taken away. Then you can't help but laugh when, after all that toruble for a hug, she demands to be kissed.

They do this all the time in anime... remember the montage near the end of Wings of Honneamise? Or Armitige The Third? It's not such a big deal, it's just being SLIGHTLY artistic. It just means that you, the viewer, have to get off your butt and INTERPRET what the movie means.

And really, don't rely on my interpretation. Figure it out for yourself. Any real art can be interpreted multiple ways... that's what makes it art. That's the difference between "high art" and "commercial art." Most anime that hits the U.S. is treated as commercial art, but in Japan there is more of a mixture.

Bottom line: This anime flash is a slightly deep piece of high art. The author can't explain it to you. You have to interpret it for yourself. Don't like to think? Then close this window and go back to watching Yu-Gi-Oh or something else that was written to be taken at face value.

I voted 3.

It doesn't deserve anything higher, sorry. All it is, is the generic line moving into random shapes FBF, which is rather easy.

Hm.

The first one seemed to have smoother FBF, but that could just be me. This was a wonderful piece of an animation, and just as good.

That was god awful.

It's funny how you take a shot at Runescape, when you don't know how hard it is to make something like that. The graphics aren't as good as most but I won't expect that from someone who has no 3D Training, and thats the max Java can run.

Aside from that it is true that the game sucks and is repetitive, but this still wasn't funny.

Smiley-Bob responds:

I'm sorry you feel that way. And if that's all Java can run THEN THEY SHOULD GET SOMETHING ELSE. Because the game would be SO MUCH BETTER if A) Better graphics, and B) less repetitive. If those two things happened it could surpass WoW.

Hehe.

I was a rather big critic on your last movies. I was surprised this one didn't obtain a daily award either. I'm glad you used your own art this time around, or, most of it was yours anyways. (A lot of it looked traced or were just screenshots :/ that disappointed me). The Madness Combat really made me LOL, but I wish the art on that was a bit better and the animation a little bit more fluid, (I suggest either easing or easing some more if you already have). The plasma grenade explosion was rather nice though. I also saw alot of used humor, the "NOOO" from Vadar, the whole terrible music in the Pelican bit, seemed like a direct copy from my good friend Kayn's part in the first TSAH. And I also recognize a bit from that one movie, Halo Funny Situations or something. Lastly, Why couldn't you use a golden gradient for the visor btw?

Respond to this.

ClassParody responds:

This movie didn't stand out, I think it was because I released it on an unusual time of the day - it was off the newly created list very quickly. It got saved by the weekly list and some publicity on HBO, but nothing else.
In this movie I wanted to show things that people would recognize in the game itself.
Anyway, the previous art was not really traced, but still taken with almost direct study. In the meantime I practiced drawing by heart and by style, which I then used here. The madness scene was created before the rest, I did that with frame-by-frame placing. However, madness has its own smooth, but irregular style which I didn't imitate. I already wrote in the subs about the NOO. The movie was in production for some time and the NOO wasn't as overdone when I made it... yet. The terrible music in the pelican was a spontaneous decision - I don't think I knowingly took the joke, probably because of the context. Although I can't say it had nothing to do with the TSAH bit. And the golden gradient? I have no idea why I did the green gradient in the first place.

Thanks for the constructive criticism and the support. But this is my last Pramape, at least for now. I plan to work on other stuff.

Not Bad.

I really only voted 5 because I love Skazini. But the animation was kind of lacking on some parts.

itsjms responds:

Hmm.. on what parts? if its mine pm me on whats wrong :p love to improve

GJ ZEK.

Really Fluid Frame By Frame I have to say. Not only that, the coloring on that fluid frame by frame, both background and characters were phenomenal. I 5'd your flash mate.
